Who's Really the Ghost?

I’m fortunate that I have friends who are interested in talking about paranormal things. We share stories, recommend books and we can have differing opinions which give everyone something to think about. It’s great. The other day we were talking about ghosts. Personally, I have never seen a ghost. To me, ghosts are totally different than spirits. Again, my own personal opinion here but I believe spirits are the energies of our deceased loved ones who come and go at their own will and you really only feel love from them. Ghosts, on the other hand, can be stuck here for several reasons: they don’t know they’re dead, they had a traumatic death and weren’t ready to go, they have unfinished business, on and on.

My thoughts the other day led me to think about planes. Not as in AIRplanes, but what if we here on earth are all on one plane. There might be a thousand different planes and sometimes we accidentally bump into each other in space and time. You might see a “ghost” who is just on a totally different plane. When they see you do they think you’re a ghost? There’s a transparent little girl standing in your kitchen. You see each other and you run screaming into your room. Maybe she’s doing the same thing on her plane. She may have lived on that property 200 years ago.

Who’s to say that our future hasn’t already happened on another plane.  Whoa. Ponder that for a minute. If you believe in reincarnation, when you come back, you can choose to come back at any point and time. I’m italicizing because I want you to see my point here. You can choose to come back in the 1800s, you can choose to come back in the year 2525 (if man is still alive). You will just come back on a different plane.

Now, if you come back in the 1800s, history would have to be totally different than the one we know! It’s CRAZY TALK! Each plane will have it’s own history and future. We can’t be so selfish to think every plane would be just like ours. Honestly, I’d be disappointed if they were.

Can you go the different planes now? If you are doing any sort of astral projection, I think it’s possible. I’m not an expert by any means but I’ve been thinking about it for awhile. It may have happened to me when I was meditating: I went under fairly quickly for me – usually it takes a long time. I found myself in a place that I perceived to be India, just because that’s my only reference. I seemed to be in the body of a male doctor. I was wearing a white doctor coat and I can still see the place where I “arrived.” It was either a school, a hospital or, now that I’m thinking about it, a children’s orphanage. (Which is probably what it was if I’m getting that feeling now). There was another male doctor standing next to me and there were kids (I’m remembering they were all boys now) milling about. There was a bench in front of me and two boys sat on it. One was about 10, the other maybe 6. The older boy was very protective of the younger one as they sat there looking at me. Yes, they saw me and they seemed a little startled. At that point I came back into my body in my bedroom.

I am not sure if I came back because I was just as startled that they saw me, that I didn’t know why I was there in the first place or maybe something in my home made noise and broke the meditation. I don’t know, but I did not have the intention to astral project, I was just there. That’s the part that I can’t wrap my head around. I may never know! I never wrote it down but it is in my head now just as clear as the day it happened.
