Intuitive Healing for Women Living with the Stress and Anxiety of Discontent
Find Balance, Ease Mental and Physical Pain and Heal From Within
The Healing Process
By using massage therapy, Reiki and other methods including aromatherapy, chakra balancing and intuitive readings, we will work together to create a plan to help you leave the pain, stress or anxiety behind, connect with your inner wisdom and get you back in balance. Spiritual healing is less about temporarily feeling good and more about revealing and releasing the cause of the discomfort, opening the door to true healing.
I am passionate about helping women who are in need of physical and mental relaxation through massage therapy, but also helping them see more clearly where they need to make changes to achieve the goals they know they want to achieve, but don’t know where to go or what to do RIGHT NOW.
Are you feeling disconnected?
Being unable to make decisions, even when you know where you want to go can be frustrating. It causes stress because you can be too hard on yourself. You lose your connection to your spirit and find yourself getting frustrated by your own inability to take the smallest steps. I understand this totally! It took me until I was in my mid-50s, after I had tried so many “careers” to find what I’m good at. It is never too late to find your passion and to make decisions (even when they turn out not to be what you expected) because when you keep moving, exciting things happen.
What are some of the symptoms of living with stress and anxiety?
Difficulty sleeping. Without a good night’s sleep, your body experiences fatigue, cloudy-thinking, achy muscles and possibly overeating or relying on coffee or other stimulants to keep you going. If you take sleep medications, you may feel worse the next day.
Poor Digestion. Digestive problems manifest as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), diarrhea, constipation, abdominal cramping and nausea. When you don’t eat fresh food or take the time to enjoy your meal without distractions (reading, TV, scrolling whatever), or you scarf your lunch at your desk at work, you may not be allowing your body to relax enough to digest properly. Added stress from work and family responsibilities tighten up all the digestive muscles.
Weight Gain. Weight gain is not the problem, it is a symptom of a much deeper dysfunction which could be deeply rooted. Part of this is numbing your feelings with food, creating temporary happiness or not caring enough about yourself to eat in a healthful way.
Stress and anxiety effect your body in more ways than you can imagine.
Who Needs Healing?
Everyone needs healing at some point. I believe one of the best parts of what I do is giving every person on my table the gift of touch. We don’t get enough of it. I’m not asking for you to do anything except accept it and feel nurtured. Women are the nurturers of everyone else and we need to fill ourselves up before we can then give to others. I practice what I preach by getting regular bodywork and letting someone take care of me for just that short time. It recharges my batteries.
You may need healing if:
You work long hours
You take care of elderly or sick family members
You are a new mom
You can’t sleep
You have a lot of responsibility at work
You are getting divorced
You are planning your wedding
You have had emotional trauma (natural disaster, trauma or violence against you)
You are trying to conceive
You are building a business
Many of these things are just a normal way of life and you don’t even realize you need healing until you’re so stressed, tired and depleted. Please give your soul what it needs.
